Tiffany Paige of www.GreenWithTiffany.com interviews Chanelle Sladics on their launch of www.simplystraws.com at the Green Festival. Simply Straws is a reusable glass drinking straw, an alternative to the common plastic straw. It was founded by Chanelle’s mother, Cyndi Sladics, a Dental Hygienist for 31 years. The whole family plays a role in Simply Straws and work to raise awareness of plastic pollution and how 500 million straws are thrown away everyday. Chanelle tells us about the hazards of plastic, both to our environment and our health and how Simply Straws is helping to make a difference.
