I went in a plastic pollution research sailing expedition from Bermuda to Iceland with the 5 Gyres Institute. I am going to share bits of my trip in these snippets as well as an upcoming video. We covered 2500 miles in 3 weeks and sailed through both the sub tropical and sub polar gyres. In this video I am going through the sargassum or seaweed that was pulled from the trawl that we had out in the water collecting debris.
